Programs that move green innovations from lab to market
Accelerators and tailored collaboration formats for sustainable industry
EriCa runs two types of programs: EriCa Reactor, our themed accelerator for startups and spinoffs, and tailored programs built with partners around specific industrial, research or ecosystem needs.
Why EriCa programs exist?
Sustainable industry needs new solutions for clean water, circularity, material recovery, fossil-free raw materials and more resource-efficient industrial processes.
At the same time, many promising technologies struggle to reach the market. Startups and researchers often need industrial validation, customer access, funding, credibility and a clearer commercialization path. Industrial companies need faster access to emerging technologies and practical ways to work with startups and research-based teams.
EriCa programs are designed to bring these needs together.

EriCa Reactor accelerator
EriCa Reactor is our flagship program for startups and spinoffs working on green chemistry, circular economy and sustainable industry.
The accelerator program helps teams strengthen their commercial direction, validate industrial relevance, build customer and partner relationships and prepare for pilots, partnerships, investment or scaling.
EriCa Reactor connects selected teams with industry partners, mentors, investors and ecosystem actors through workshops, sparring, matchmaking and demo activities.

Program formats we can build with partners
Innovation challenges
EriCa can help companies, universities and partners organize innovation challenges around specific industrial or sustainability-related needs. This format is useful when an organization has a need or opportunity, but does not yet know which technologies, startups, researchers or partners could help solve it.
Hackathons and bootcamps
Hackathons and bootcamps are intensive formats for exploring ideas, building early concepts and activating talent around a defined theme. They can be used with students, researchers, startups, companies or mixed teams.
Industry-startup matchmaking
EriCa can create curated connections between industrial companies and startups or research-based teams.
Matchmaking can be organized as a single event, a themed meeting day or a structured process around specific industry needs.
Deep tech and research commercialization
EriCa can support researchers, universities and research-based teams in moving ideas closer to business and industrial impact.
Soft landing and tailored programs
EriCa can support international startups, companies and ecosystem partners entering Finland, the EU market or the wider green chemistry and sustainability ecosystem. We can also design tailored programs for companies, cities, universities, foundations, public sector partners and international ecosystems.
