EriCa gives startups, spinoffs and companies a way to start with shared lab access, grow into a fixed area and move into private laboratory space when needed.
Shared Labs
Shared Labs at Crazy Town EriCa are suitable for teams that need laboratory access but do not yet need a permanent private lab.
This can be a good option for early validation, part-time lab work, recurring experiments or teams transitioning from research to business.
Shared Lab: 690 € / month per lab bench
Additional lab benches available at a discounted rate
Shared Lab Plus: starting from: 2500 € / month for a fixed area
One-time onboarding fee applies: 150 € per session
Private Laboratory
For larger teams, we offer "plug-and-play" private lab spaces for longer term rent. These spaces can be rented in segments or combined to suit your needs.
You get a secure, private lab space for your equipment and R&D, as well as access to eyewash stations, and emergency showers and Crazy Town EriCa.
Availability subject to customer specifications, sizes up to 1446 m2.
What you get at shared labs at EriCa?
Laboratory infrastructure
EriCa lab infrastructure includes fume hoods, laboratory workbenches, cold, warm and RO water, compressed air and nitrogen supply, safety systems, chemical storage, fire safety cabinets, corrosive storage and acid-base cabinets.
Services and access
Lab users access the laboratory according to agreement and onboarding. Maintenance, cleaning, gases and chemicals are handled based on use and agreement.
Equipment, chemicals and workflows are evaluated case by case.
Equipment and facilities
Available equipment and facilities includes laboratory refrigerators, laboratory freezers, laboratory scale, drying oven, instrument washers, instrument drying cabinets, stainless steel furniture and storage space.
Workspace, community and ecosystem
Most teams do not only need a lab. They also need a place to plan, analyse, meet customers, talk to investors and build the commercial side of the company. Lab users can also access Crazy Town EriCa coworking spaces, meeting hub, EriCa ecosystem activities and the wider Crazy Town network in Finland.
